The Overnight Radio Hour 

The Overnight Radio Hour is a speculative transmedia design project and Alternate Reality Game built around a fictional paranormal radio show in Brakensville, Alabama.

Eight episodes. Three Instagram accounts. Government warnings. Emergency broadcasts. A phenomenon called The Doubling :: in which residents begin encountering optimized, socially rewarded versions of themselves :: and a radio show that was the first to notice.

The project explores identity fragmentation in contemporary digital culture. What happens when the version of yourself the algorithm rewards becomes more real than the one that actually woke up this morning.

All eight episodes are available on your favorite podcasting platform. Live broadcasts aired on WEGL 91.1 FM, Mondays and Thursdays at 9pm through May 7th.
